Philpot and Deitz Take First Victories at Devil's Bowl
Mesquite, TX (April 12) – Johnny Philpot topped the street stocks for his career first victory Saturday night at Devil's Bowl. A few minutes later, Philip Dietz led the super sprints under the checkered flag for the first win of his sprint car career. Martin Edwards claimed the championship sprint car feature victory for his second career win. Chuck Beusch took the late model win and Clyde Dunn, Jr. set the pace for his second straight USA modified feature victory.
