Sickels Makes Modified Magic at Devil's Bowl
Mesquite, TX (September 10) – Steve Sickels charged to teh front and claimed his first USA modified feature victory of the season at Devil's Bowl Saturday night. Larry Neighbors topped the super sprints. Darren Ellis claimed the late model win and Johnny Philpott out ran the street stock field.
Dink's Notebook
Another great night of racing, good fast track all night long. Sure was
glad to see Steve Sickles back in victory lane in the Mods after a two
year drought. Larry Long just doesn't seem to be having much luck since
his return from his bad crash turning over again this week, glad it was
an easy one. Michael Lang took a hard ride as well, glad he was OK. And
how about Joseph Kasper, two heat wins in two weeks,quite an
accomplishment for that team. Danny Zimmerman's bad luck continued Sat.
night in the Street Stocks loosing his left rear tire and wheel in the
feature. Congrats again to all the feature winners and good luck the
rest of the season to all.
