Dink's Notebook
If one word could describe
Sat. night it would have to be WOW! New faces glowed in Victory Lane
as well as a regular there. The night started out with a seemingly heavy
race track to a totally dry black track top to bottom. Dan Burk drove a
near flawless 15 laps to take his first ever Sprint win. Congrats Dan it
was well deserved. Tony Batt after a three year absence from Victory Lane
made it there leading all fifteen laps of the USA Modified "A,"
nice job Tony. Kevin Hazelip finally shook the monkey off his back to win
the Street Stocks as Darren Ellis was back in winning form as well. The
Late Models "A" had a strong resemblance to a Demo Derby in the
first few laps, hope all will be back next week with a renewed patience to
get past lap one.
