Mesquite, TX (Oct 28) - Ray Moore made it two in a row as he claimed the $2,5000 victory as the SUPR Late Models closed out the Texas Super Nationals at Devil's Bowl Speedway Saturday night. Danny Caldwell made his first USA modified victory at Devil's Bowl memorable - taking the $2,000 first place cash. Troy Taylor topped the SIMS modifieds for the second evening, while Johnny Philpot, Jr. continued his domination of the street stocks.

Delbert Smith got caught behind lapped traffic, giving Moore the opportunity to sweep around the outside and take the lead. Smith had to settle for second after leading much of the race. (Photo by Linda Fields)
