Wright Sweeps ASCS Red River Shootout
Johnny Dunn Jr. Takes Third Straight USA Modified Win
Philpot Claims World Class Street Stock Honors
The "Texan" Gary Wright led the field to the green and never looked back in
route to sweeping this weekends ASCS Red River Shootout. Wayne Johnson fought
off a hard charging Jason Johnson for the second spot as Kevin Ramey settled
in for fourth and Travis Rila was fifth.
Johnny Dunn Jr. made it three in a
row in the USA Modifieds coming from his thirteenth starting spot working
his way through the field for the win. Rick McCommas was second with Perry
Belk, Richard Miller and Danny Caldwell completing the top five.
Johnny
Philpot Jr. claimed the World Class Street Stock honors as Harry Hronas came
home second. Darby Shelby, Marcus Baxter and Wally Beaty rounded out the top
