Lonnie Wheatley, MESQUITE, Tex. (July 19, 2007) – With the O'Reilly American Sprint Cars on Tour National series championship chase at full boil, three-time and reigning series champion Gary Wright of Hooks, TX, is stepping up to meet the challenge.

And what better place than Devil's Bowl Speedway for "The Texan" to strengthen his cause, as he completed a sweep of the night's action by wiring the field in Thursday night's 25-lap feature to put the wraps on the third leg of the 15th Annual ASCS Sizzlin' Summer Speedweek.

Danny Caldwell Dink McCullough, MESQUITE, Tex. (July 19,2007)- Danny Caldwell made his way to the front from his thirteenth starting spot to take the checkers in USA modified A main event. It was Steve McMakin second at the line ahead of Perry Belk followed by Shane Killingsworth and Travis Pace to round out the top five.

It was Johnny Philpot Jr. out front at the flag in the World Class Street Stock A main with Wally Beaty second. Jason Troutman was third Gary Corbin fourth and Mark Ross fifth. Thanks to all that came out for our Thursday night show. (Story by Dink)
