Wester Sweeps Super Sprints

Dale Wester won the opening Super Sprint heat race in route to his sweep. Second heat race winner Russell Shoulders was second at the line with Larry Long third. Todd Evans was fourth and Martin Edwards fifth.

Darren Ellis made his way to the front of Late Model A main from his inside seventh row starting spot to take the checkers out front. Early race leader Jack Ambern Jr. was second at the line with Sloppy Hogg third. Michael Grubbs and Patrick Daniel rounded out the top five.

Steve McMackin won the first of three Outlaw Modified heats in route to his A main win to claim his sweep. Jason Troutman was second at the flag and Randy Kirkland third. Colby Smith was fourth and Danny Caldwell fifth.

Wally Beaty took a borrowed engine to victory lane in the World Class Street Stocks from his fifth row outside starting spot. Harry Hronas was second the line and Tim McManus third. Chuck Flanery and Steve Trevathan completed the top five.

Jimmy Criswell won the first of four Limited Modified heat races on his way to the winning the A main to complete his sweep. It was Rickey Haney second at the line and Robert Vetter third. Jimmy Staats was fourth and Richard Strain fifth.
